Kevin, this is just perfect. I love the new things. Damn send me a beta – I want that theme now!
Tom
I will start working on it this weekend – but for now; I am heading off to bed
Kevin, I see a major inconvenience in darkening the top menu area: a decrease in the text readability (that is, the “Dock” text in your sample picture). What do you think?
You are killing me with the lovely preview!
Beta?
Looks great. I just want to make a comment about one of your color choices.
Currently, the finder toolbar buttons darken when pressed/selected. That makes sense on the light gray background.
It does not make so much sense on a dark background. The selected/pressed item should be the one to stand out against the background. The rest should blend in.
You have it the other way around.
Hello Jam,
thank you for your comment. As for the color choices, are from the currently released screenshots of how mobile me is going to look like (http://blog.kevinandersson.dk/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/calendar_gallery_3_20080618.jpg) – as you can see, the active buttons are dark.
If this theme goes well, I will make others. So don’t worry – you are probably going to see a lighter theme as well
